Online applications are invited from intended and eligible candidates for admission in different trade courses, affiliated to the NCVT under Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS), running in different Govt. ITIs/ITCs/ PPP Govt. ITIs / Govt. Jr. Polytechnics (JP) in West Bengal, as per the list given as Annexure-A, for the session commencing from August 2021

For the candidates appearing Madhyamik 2021 or equivalent examination this year from any recognised Board, separate notification will be issued after date of publication of results.

যে সমস্ত ছাত্র ছাত্রী ২০২১ এ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষা দেবে তারা এই ফর্ম টি পূরণ করতে পারবে না । তাদের জন্য আলাদা করে আলাদা নোটিশ বের হাবে রেজাল্ট বের হাবার পর।

ELIGIBILTY FOR APPLICANTS

• Candidates who passed the requisite entry qualification from any school located within the State of West Bengal, are eligible for admission to Govt. ITIs / ITCs/JP and PPP Govt. ITIs.
• Minimum entry qualification for M Group trades: Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from a recognized board. 
• For E Group trades: Class Eight passed from a recognized school.
• N.B: Candidates having been passed Madhyamik or equivalent Examination without Mathematics and Physical Science as subjects will not be entitled for admission to the trades of Engineering Group.
• Applicant is eligible for applying in any one Group of trades (either M Group or E Group). Applicants found at any stage applying for both the groups will be summarily rejected.  

Age Limit

 Applicant should attain at least 14 years of age as on 01.08.2021, i.e, born before 01.08.2007. There is no upper-age limit.

For M Group trades:

a) On the basis of marks obtained in Madhyamik or equivalent board examination. 

b) No separate entrance test will be held.

For E Group trades

a) On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the class VIII examination.

For Boys: Fees will be Rs.200/-

For Girls: Fees will be Rs.100/-

TCS Launches Remote Internship Platform For Students

One of the leading IT companies in India, Tata Consultancy Services, has come with an innovative initiative, a platform for virtual internships. This platform is the brainchild of TCS iON, a strategic unit of TCS.

The lockdown has us all confined to our homes, hampering our schedules, but there is no denying that this is the best time for us to learn something new through virtual internships.

TCS iON has launched ‘Remote Internships’, a digital platform for internships that will act as a bridge between students and corporates and their mentors as well.

The internship program will be for students who have graduated from engineering, science, and business streams. It has a structured framework that aligns with the guidelines issued by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

TCS Remote Internships :

Companies will post their internship opportunities on this program and students can browse through these and apply for the ones that they are interested in. Credits for these will be awarded as per the internship or project that is chosen. 

This internship programme by TCS will also offer students with industry-curated learning material, projects, videos, or webinars. Students can also share and communicate with their peers and mentors about any innovative idea that they have come up with using a proper social format. 

More than 100 internship programmes have been designed and curated on the platform on the day of the launch itself. Also, there are multiple domains from which students can choose their pick.

This progamme will also enable academic guides to track the progress of each student in order to give them academic credits accordingly. They cna also conduct exit tests and add up viva voce scores.
